"Kiaguard" is a traditional Japanese Kampo medicine product containing a full-dose formulation* of Goreisan, which helps suppress headache symptoms caused by changes in barometric pressure. The medication is available in convenient, individual sachets, each containing a single dose for an adult (over 15 years) – 4 tablets.
*A full-dose formulation is a formulation in which the extract is obtained from the full (maximum) amount of medicinal plants specified in the Japanese Pharmacopoeia for Goreisan.
The drug can be used regardless of physical condition, if thirst and low urine output are present, accompanied by one of the following symptoms: dizziness, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, headache, or edema. It is used for the following conditions: watery diarrhea, acute gastroenteritis (do not use with tenesmus*), heatstroke, headache, edema, and hangover.
*Tenesmus is a condition characterized by a sensation of incomplete bowel movement and a repeated urge to defecate, accompanied by abdominal pain.
