It is used for the following conditions: watery diarrhea, acute gastroenteritis (do not use with tenesmus*), heatstroke, headache, edema, and hangover.
*Tenesmus is a condition characterized by a sensation of incomplete bowel movement and a repeated urge to defecate, accompanied by abdominal pain.
