1. The following individuals should consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered medicinal product retailer before use:
(1) Individuals undergoing treatment by a doctor.
(2) Women who are up to 3 months pregnant, women who may become pregnant, or women planning to become pregnant. (There have been reports of an increased risk of congenital anomalies in children born to mothers who took more than 10,000 international units of vitamin A per day from 3 months before pregnancy until 3 months of pregnancy.)
